I play League of Legends and really enjoy the in game art style. I have taken one of the characters I find myself playing tons, Malzahar, and recreated him in my own personal style. Along for the ride is one of his voidlings. Enjoy!

I think I am going to to stick with my mezzotint series a tad longer and start doing fun game focused prints. Here is one to remind summoners the importance of buying wards in League of Legends.

Blackbird commissioned me to produce the marquee poster for their upcoming show of David Mamet’s Oleanna. Inspired by poster designs of the 1960s, specifically Saul Bass, the central theme of the show is the power struggle and miscommunication between men and women. The apple core speaks to the educational setting that the play takes place within, the yelling male and female faces show the power struggle, and the caption spells it out -The Original Power Play.

I am designed the logo for a campaign celebrating the arts in Nashville called “Mozart in Music City“. This is a partnership between BlackBird Theater, Nashville Symphony, Nashville Opera, and Lipscomb University.
The logo is based on varying handwriting of Amadeus Mozart on a music scale. See if you can spot the guitar which is usually mandatory when you use the term Music City.

This year was a blast! My wife and I had the great opportunity to use our individual talents together again this year. I as theater director and stage background artist and her as dance choreographer. The show we produced with the World Outreach Children’s ministry was “The Secret of Snowflake County”. The entire production used both theater, song, dance, acting and choreography with 300+ children.
Here is a sampling of the backgrounds we projected on a giant theater screen the church had already in place for it’s New Years Series.
