On labor day Yancy will be performing live at World Outreach and I was asked to illustrate some elements for a large back drop animation on a 42′ screen. These are heavily influenced by classic 2000’s Nickelodeon animation styles 🙂

Here are some sneak peaks…
I have gotten back into producing avatars. Here is the latest from this year…
Here presented is all the collateral, design work, illustration I did for the Christmas Musical THE CHOICE an original produced musical. This was a show produced with the World Outreach Church Kid’s Choir.
We wrote the stage-play, produced the show, scored the music, wrote the lyrics, hand crafted the costumes, concieved the lighting, designed all the graphics, choreographed the dance, directed the actors, vocal coached the singers, and trained the overall choir.
I drew this up for work and thought I’d share a template to create Apple WATCH demos or mockups. Have fun and feel free to use it 🙂
The PlayOn Con was back camping again this year.
The idea for the premium shirt was a Van Helsing inspired monster hunter hero type for Uncle Sam. This was done in a dutone green for a spooky look on a dark base shirt.
On the camp shirt look for a few easter eggs:
- That’s No Moon
- Marshmallowy goodness
- 7th year on dice
This was a blast to work on. It was the meeting of church, kids’s choir, theater, gaming, design, chip-tunes, family, robots, illustration, and the 80’s into one explosive performance at World Outreach Church
I did the major creative direction, illustration, stage design, costume design, and even taped all the drums neon. It was fantastic! My wife choreographed all the dance and special performances. She did a great job!
Minute 2:45 is my favorite part — BOSS BATTLE!
The previous post of Minecraft related elements has been wonderfully received. To celebrate the 4th of July here in the good old USA, I have built out some more Minecraft elements in vector. Included is the basic set of Minecraft tools including a Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, and Shovel in diamond, gold, stone, etc.
These are in PDF in vector form for your personal use. If you do use them please post me a comment here and let me know how your using them 🙂
Baron Nashor from League of Legends is running free! Who let him out of his pen!? Better hide your champions in home base, he looks hungry!!
I play League of Legends and really enjoy the in game art style. I have taken one of the characters I find myself playing tons, Malzahar, and recreated him in my own personal style. Along for the ride is one of his voidlings. Enjoy!
I think I am going to to stick with my mezzotint series a tad longer and start doing fun game focused prints. Here is one to remind summoners the importance of buying wards in League of Legends.
